IPhone 6 is a
remarkable new phone but it is to big some say and that you can’t hold it or
grip it. I don’t think that it is that good and if i ever had the phone i would
drop it. The iPhone 6 Plus’ camera lens protrudes from the backside of the
device. It appears that Apple has even taken steps to hide this in its
marketing materials that it’s by way of “clever lighting and placement [that]
Apple hides that bump in profile view where it clearly would ruin the clean
line and sleek looks. “The lens design also means that the phone doesn't sit
level when you lay it on a table, as seen below:
The good thing about the iPhone 6 is that it takes
way better pictures than any of their other phones. It does look bigger so you
can see the screen. The
iPhone 6 generated massive lines as first week sales exceeded 10 million (11%
increase year-over-year). However, the $100 price differential between the
iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will translate into higher revenue growth than unit growth.
Reviews
for the iPhone 6 were solid. Engaged went ahead and rated the device an 87/100.
The bigger display, better battery life and added camera features (optical
image stabilization) gave the iPhone a positive rating.Component
suppliers geard up for 80 million iPhone 6 units by the end of calendar year
2014. Apple will gain a much larger percentage of the high-end of the
smartphone segment, and it's likely that Apple's market position in developed
markets will improve. The uptake in demand is partially driven by consumers
upgrading from lower tier devices into the high-end, paired with market share
gains against Android OEMs. Review
When Apple released the first commercially available multi-touch phone in 2007,
it had to decide how big it should be. And it got it right first time. Yet this
year’s new models – the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus both break that would.
The iPhone 6 Plus, which we review tomorrow, makes a feature of its bigness;
but the straight iPhone 6 is just this year’s new iPhone, and it’s not obvious
why it needed to gain square in change. While the iPhone 6 Plus does offer fairly competitive battery life,
the iPhone 6 still doesn’t add significant headway here; the capacity of its
battery stands at 1,800mAh – the handset is gloriously thin but personally I’d
gladly give up 2-3mm here in return for a higher capacity battery. Although the
new phone features many refinements to make it more power efficient, the fact
remains it still has a much larger screen to power too.
